Cruised through 2016 wondering is there no film that would blow me
away, and in its final days Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals dropped. This
level of maturity is a rarity these days. And why is Jake Gyllenhall
always so convincingly detestable?

RIP
"What you'll have of me after I journey to that great Death Star in the
sky is an extremely accomplished daughter, a few books, and a picture of
a stern-looking girl wearing some kind of metal bikini lounging on a
giant drooling squid, behind a newscaster informing you of the passing
of Princess Leia after a long battle with her head."

i like motion pictures
Sing Street is the most charming film of the year. surprisingly catchy music, a strangely absorbing romance à la 500 Days of Summer, for once a sibling who's not dysfunctional, all held together by a teenage cast. Lucy Boynton especially.
